Blind Perdition
20” x 24”, Acrylic and ink on birch panel, 2021
Blind Perdition
Blind perdition
Most do not see their own demise
With or without religion
Ensnared in cyclical lies
Dependent on the ego
or dependent on god
dependent on physical touch
Reliving tales of decay
and of love
Amnesia of past lives
Blind leading the blind
It is their past
Yet it is seen as lore
far removed from the front door
Always locked with shutters closed
Separation feeding emptiness
The hand bitten with eyes closed
Eyes open - it is yours
Religion and pure skepticism
Neither lead to reason
Watered down doctrines
misinterpreted into new translations
Blind leading the blind
in a bid for control
Grey intentions mislead by
generations of telephone
Hypocritical exposition
Leaders with no self control
A farce of a following
directed by 3 mice, their tails cut off
as they bite their own hand, and yours.
A farce of a following
directed by 3 mice, their tails cut off
as they bite their own hand, and yours.
